Republic Briefings

One character. Many ways to create.

The sculpted curls, the emerald jacket, the geometric F. Femix’s creative presidency now has a visual language that can travel from a poster to a film to the web.

The first campaign poster. A fictional campaign by DJ Femix.

The starting point is the approved 3D Femix character: expressive brown eyes, sculpted short curls, a moustache and goatee, and a thoughtful, quietly playful expression. An emerald jacket, ivory shirt and violet-ring headphones carry that personality into the campaign wardrobe. The small maple-leaf detail connects the character to the Canadian chapter of my story.

The palette keeps the same balance. Emerald and ivory do most of the work; violet appears in smaller accents and light. The geometric F adds a sculptural mark that can sit beside the character or stand on its own when space is tight. On the poster, both belong to the same world.

Build. Secure. Remix.

Those three words connect the identity to the interests behind it. Build makes room for 3D concepts, web experiments and ideas for Nigeria. Secure reflects an interest in cybersecurity and thoughtful online presence. Remix brings in music, Afrobeats and the pleasure of trying familiar ingredients in a new arrangement.

The words also give the visual work a useful rhythm. A poster needs a clear first impression. A film needs continuity as the scenes change. A website needs a recognisable voice across projects, music and updates. The face, mark, colours and slogan help those pieces feel connected.

That shared identity can hold finished work alongside clearly labelled experiments. The courtyard study remains an illustrative concept; the launch film and campaign artwork are things you can see now. Each has a different place in the creative process.

Explore the poster above, or download a copy below. The character has arrived. There is plenty more to build around him.
